trash in venice
Submitted by Anonymous on Wed, 05/28/2008 - 3:31pm.i am sick and tired of ALL OF THE TRASH in venice. it has become overwhelming and disgusting. i am not sure how it got so bad, but every day i go out, i spend the entire time picking up trash. we need more trash cans, and we need to make sure people do NOT litter. it is NOT okay. many times it is the homeless (as i see them do it - leaving beer cans and crap all over the place), but many other times it is those people visiting our neighborhoods on the weekends. i hope that it is not our locals that are trashing our own home. it is disgusting and needs to stop.

Filming
Submitted by Anonymous on Sun, 04/27/2008 - 8:39am.I live on McKinley Avenue, which is a small street with approximately 20 houses in the Silver Triangle section. One home on my street allows television and movies studios to film at his house so often that he has turned his home AND my entire street into a movie studio.
Showtime uses his home as the home of the main charter of one of its ongoing series. This causes my street to be filled with movie crews at least two days a week for the entire summer.
