Revised Plan for a Citywide System of Neighborhood Councils

As many of you may know, the Neighborhood Council Review Commission (NCRC) submitted its final report to City Council in September 2007, which included 73 recommendations. To date the City Council has reviewed and adopted several of those recommendations. Most noteworthy is the transfer of the conduct of neighborhood council elections to the City Clerk. As a result of this change, several sections of the Plan for a Citywide System of Neighborhood Councils (Plan) have been amended.

Attached for your convenience is the amended Plan effective 2/20/08. If you need any additional information regarding the amendments to the Plan or the conduct of neighborhood council elections, please contact the Project Coordinator assigned to your Neighborhood Council.
