Please join Robin Rudisill and other Venice Neighborhood Council Neighborhood Committee members for a meeting with City of L.A. (Stormwater Group and Street Services) and Mark Antonio Grant from Councilman Rosendahl's office, to discuss the issue of chronic flooding on Speedway.

More Flooding: Alley Flooding Vienna Way Properties
In spite of the alley between Vienna Way and Palms Bl. being paved and then re-paved it continues to flood water into our properties in the 1300 bk of Vienna Way. I have been working with Rosendahl's office but the City Street people appear to be unable to solve the problem they created by paving the alley above the level of our properties and not providing proper alley drainage.
Does anyone else in East Venice suffer this same problem?

not to get off topic, but can we please add the north west corner of westminster and abbot kinney to the discussion?

Hello, Stylee! If they do limit that discussion to Speedway, all is not lost:
VNC is teaming up with our Councilmember Rosendahl and the Dep't of Public Works' Bureau of Street Services, to sponsor a "Your Streets" meeting, concerning "everything you always wanted to know about streets, trees and sidewalks" - maintenance, trimming and paving.
The meeting is scheduled for March 27, from 6-8pm, right off that corner - at Westminster Elementary School, 1010 Abbot Kinney.
