Dear Friends,
My neighbors at the corner of Courtland and Indiana Court just knoocked on my door. Someone broke into their home on Friday and stole jewelry and a PC. A man tried to steal their car this morning at 10:00. She saw him trying to pry open the door and immediately called the police, who came
promptly. They have been told that that house is definitely abandoned and that it has become a haven for drug dealing, prostitution and who knows what else. The police told her that parolees are being brought to the house.
There will be a community action meeting on Tursday 2/27 at 7:00 pm in the Child Care Center Room at Penmar Park. Senior Lead Officer Craig White of Pacific Dividion, LAPD and Council Representative Mark Grant will be there.
Please spread the word. As always, the higher the turnout, the better.
