Body:

Seven years ago, the City of Los Angeles created a system of Neighborhood Councils to give you a greater voice in local government. These are elected groups of your neighbors and other local stakeholders who give advice to the City Council and City Departments about how to better serve your neighborhood. The Neighborhood Council Review Commission will be holding a public hearing in the West Los Angeles Planning Area. Written comments or brief spoken comments are welcome.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

  • How well is your Neighborhood Council representing you and your needs?
  • Do people know about the Neighborhood Councils?
  • Do Neighborhood Councils have the right roles and powers?
  • Is the City government organized to help the Neighborhood Councils?
  • How can we make the system better?
