MPNA Annual Meeting
The MPNA held our Annual Meeting the evening of November 30th at the Westside Leadership Magnet School. We wish to thank all of the concerned citizens who attended and those who spoke up. Hopefully, it was an enjoyable and informative time for everyone. WE ARE ACTIVELY SEEKING NEW BOARD MEMBERS FOR THE MPNA. There are many of you who are yearning to get more involved. Here is your chance. We can really make a difference in procuring services and protecting our environment. It just takes some people who will write letters and meet and most importantly, listen to your neighbors. Here is the procedure to become a Board Member:
Submit a 150-300 word statement on your candidacy – email to info@marinapeninsula.org or fax to 310-578-1876. Explain who you are, and what issues are meaningful to you, and how you would go about getting results.
- The candidate statements are due by December 10th.
- They will be published on the MPNA web site by December 15th.
- Election ballots will go out (or online) by January 15th
- The deadline for voting is January 31, 2007.
- Results will be reported by February 10th
