Arts Committee meeting Monday October 27 at Blankenship Ballet at 6 pm.

This month's Arts Committee agenda will address a single urgent issue. The Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs is developing a "cultural master plan" for Los Angeles and the 11th District is invited to participate at a meeting at the Venice Abbot-Kinney Library on Saturday November 8th from 12:30 until 2pm.

The notice of this meeting arrived too late to permit the process of N C Board approval for the Arts Committee to speak on behalf of Venice, but we can speak as individuals who serve on the Arts Committee.

Representatives of Venice arts organizations who plan to speak will be welcome to join us at this meeting to discuss how we might most effectively coordinate our presentations under the limited constraint of a single hour and a half meeting open to the entire 11th District.
