Kevin McNeely (financial specialist from the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment) will be present to help with this process. NOTE: There will be no discussion on the merits of the projects.

The Outreach Committee will meet on Tuesday, March 25th at the Community Room of Extra Space Storage, 658 Venice Blvd, Venice, CA 90291. We'll call the meeting to order at 7:00 PM and adjourn at 9:00 PM.

At this meeting we'll be discussing the Newsletter, Planning for upcoming meetings, Budgeting, our Restaurant outreach program, items referred to Outreach from other committees and VNC Ball Caps / T-Shirts for Board & Committee Members

An additional meeting of the VNC Neighborhood Committee will be held discuss and distribute for review to member, the technically approved applications for Community Improvement Funds. The Regular meeting of this Committee will take place on Monday,

Want to know when your street will be paved? How to get your sidewalk resurfaced?

Learn everything you always wanted to know about streets, trees and sidewalks including median maintenance, tree trimming, slurry seal, street maintenance and the micropaver system.

Venice Neighborhood Announces Community Improvement Proposal Presentations

The Venice Neighborhood Council announces presentations by 30 applicants who have submitted projects requesting Community Improvement funds. The presentations are scheduled for Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Westminster Elementary School Auditorium, 1010 Abbot Kinney Blvd, beginning at 6:30 PM.

There is a new VNC Ad Hoc Safety Committee formed to create opportunities for the Venice Community and the Ctiy of Los Angeles to work together to create a safer Venice.

Hold Joint Meeting on Clean Money for City Elections

A workshop on full public funding for Los Angeles city election campaigns will be held Thursday, April 10, from 6:30pm to 8:30 pm at the Walgrove Elementary School Auditorium at 1630 Walgrove Ave.

Come help us help our neighborhood schools. It will take the whole community to make a positive difference.
