Mayor's Day of Service Projects for VENICE Schools
Start: 8:00 am
End: 1:00 pm

You are invited to participate with "sweat equity" and/or snacks for volunteers at Venice High School (3 projects); Westminster School Ladybug Garden; Walgrove School Garden; Mark Twain Middle School. Thanks so far to Venice Farmer's Market, Off the Wall Catering, Heavenly Catering,Food Not Bombs, Big Daddy's Pizza and the Venice Neighborhood Council for food donations. More needed

The Friends of the Venice Library are hosting their

BIGGEST BOOK SALE

of the season

THIS coming Saturday, March 15th

9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

in the Jon David Waldron Community Room

and the Lobby of our

Venice-Abbot Kinney Memorial Library

Brnch libraries such as our Venice Library are currently faced with the dilemma of trying to maintain existing services and resources in light of increasing City and State cutbacks and budgetary reductions.
