Please join Heal the Bay to help reduce pollution on our beaches on Coastal Cleanup Day: Saturday, September 16, 2006, at Venice Beach at Rose Avenue, from 9:00 am to noon!

Did you know that 80% of the trash you see on our coast and oceans does NOT come from beach goers, but travels our stormdrain channels from as far inland as 60 miles before landing on our sand and surf?

By helping pick up beach litter, you can play an important part in the ongoing fight to keep our coasts clean and safe for beachgoers, coastal creatures and birds, and the ocean itself! Plus, you'll get great exercise walking the beach with other volunteers from the Venice community!! Please spread the word!

Free Parking is available at the beach lot on Rose Avenue and Ocean Front Walk - just tell the attendant you are there for Coastal Cleanup Day.
