No candidate for any of the 21 elected offices of the Grass Roots Venice Neighborhood Council may handle either the voter registration forms or ballots. If you plan to run for office you cannot be involved with registration and/or the election itself. If you plan to run, there is another form for you to use.

CANDIDATE FORUM;
Volunteers needed to staff information tables, post signs, run errands, and generally see that the candidate forum runs smoothly.

Volunteers on election days will confirm stakeholder status, hand out numbered ballots, accept numbered ballots back from stakeholders and put them into the ballot box. Election hours are 10:00am to 5:00pm. A 45-minute orientation precedes the election for all volunteers.

______Sunday, September 11, 2005, after 5:00pm to count the ballots
