No minutes approve from last meeting, no quorum.

 

 

Final line by line review of 2004 election procedures draft.

Numbered items were approved by consensus.

 

 

Motion: in favor of including "yellow text" to include a vote-by-mail component in the election procedures.

18.           Page 13, add statement 9: “Voter may testify to IEA”

19.           Page 13, d: Change to “If IEA does not resolve the challenge immediately, the voter will be offered a provisional ballot.”

20.           Page 13, e:  change to “When a voter casts a provisional ballot, the voter will be issues instructions that explain what steps the voter must take to qualify the provisional ballot.”

21.           Page 13, XII: strike sentence about “certified write-in candidate”

24.           Approve Tom to make technical changes with Paul’s advice

25.           Approve Tom to edit Vote-by-mail language to conform with these procedures in case the board approves.  Otherwise, election committee would have to meet again, draft procedures, and then board would have to approve final language.
