Comment – 1 hour. Each person is guaranteed 1 minute to speak.

Brainstorm and Motion to
Approve Boardwalk Committee Mission Supporting Statement. Suggested Statements
Are: To retain the unique character and diversity of the boardwalk that has
made it a world famous free speech zone, artist and performance mecca. To
represent all the people in Venice, empowering them so that everyone’s voice is
heard whether they are business owners, residents, activists, homeowners or are
physically here whether they are housed or not. Identify the current situation
of the boardwalk and find solutions to any problems. Participation to be motivated by principles of basic Human Rights and
Civil Rights.

Opening Discussion Sonny
Zorro Park Name – The Sonny Zorro Park name got more votes at the Feb. 26 Town
Hall Meeting. But Grassroots Venice Neighborhood Council now says the vote
count is irrelevant. Is this because Sonny Zorro was homeless? What is wrong
with being homeless? What should we do about it?
